This time of the year really feels like the true “New Year”, where many of us have wrapped up our summer vacation, and have settled into a new routine for the fall…or “New Year”. For our little ones, there is a new school year that brings along with it new best friends, new routines, new teachers, and yes, even new lunch boxes!

As parents, we hover over our little ones to make sure these transitions are smooth and joyful-and that isn’t always easy. You know as soon as you pick up your child from school, or they walk through your door, what their day was like. Open and easy communication is key at this time as our children are meeting so many new different people, big and small. So, to all I say, “Happy New Year”, and may it bring wonderful times and memories for everyone!
